Yahoshua the Sacrificial Lamb ov the Passover

In this Week’s Torah Reflections: Yahoshua the Sacrificial Lamb of the Passover. How many times have we witness believers crying to escape the refining fires of trial while hearing some disenfranchised soul outside the gate begging to be refined in order to know Yahweh.
“Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth (day) of the month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household:. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male, a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats; and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.” Exodus 12:3,5,6.

Luke 18:31 “Yeshua took the twelve aside and told them, ‘We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be handed over to the gentiles/Nations. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”’

“Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee, in all thy borders. And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.  And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thy hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the law of Yahweh may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath Yahweh brought thee out of Egypt.” Exodus 13:8,9.

Who would had ever thought that such a Loving and Caring Father would deliver helpless and weak slaves from the grasps of a mighty Egyptian Empire: Yet, Yahweh did and continues to deliver today. Who would had ever believed that Yahweh cares so much that He would sacrifice His own divinity to save us: Isaiah wrote: “Who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of Yahweh been revealed? For He grew up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath neither form nor comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. Surely, He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteem Him stricken, smitten of Yah, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and Yahweh hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:1-6.

From the example of scripture we read, we should always remember the simple works required of us to be in union and fellowship with Father Yahweh: Trust and Obey.

Often when we feel as if our ‘backs are against the wall’ and there is no resolve in sight that we ‘missed the boat’; we failed to meet some criteria of Faith; or our sins have ‘found us out’ for sure, although we repented and changed our ways. May we remember, Beloved, that it is in these ‘fires of trial’ that we, like gold, are refined and made true: anyone can say, ‘I would never leave you’, but faced with opposition, many abandon their conviction and flee; but a friend in adversity is a friend indeed. We should be thankful that Father Yahweh would never leave us and in return we should never leave Him. The Apostles wrote that these trials come to try our faith; and if we keep faith we are made stronger through the Testimony of the Awesome work that Yahweh does for us through Yahoshua Our Savior, Who always causes us to triumph.  Let us rejoice, for the Redeemer of Israel has come, and He brings joy: for He delivered us from our crisis and bondage of sin; We are free, and free indeed.

“Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice; for Yahweh hath done great things…And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yahweh your Father, and there is none else; and my people shall never be put to shame.” Joel 2:21,27.
